You're not actually bored (and why that changes everything)

When I say emotional eating your mind might go straight to Bridget Jones (we are of an age aren't we), her delving into a tub of Ben and Jerry's crying and listening to "All By Myself".

But when I say boredom eating.

I bet you resonate with that? Most women do.

But I bet you aren't actually bored.

Because let's face it you've got a to do list longer than your arm.

You are triggered by a messy house.

You are the default parent.

You do all the mental admin.

A lot.

A spa day is a distant dream.

A wee by yourself is a distant hope (or is that just me...?)

So maybe you aren't actually bored?

There's something else going on.

You see, emotional eating is a way to numb, distract or avoid.

Food is really readily available, always on hand, non judgmental and well, tasty.

So why wouldn't you use it, if there's something going on for you which feels a little off.

Now this is where I come in.

Because I delve into emotional eating with my clients and I'm going deep into it in my Mindful Eating Workshop this Saturday.

Because as you know I like to tackle the root cause.

I don't faff around with surface level stuff but I go deep.

And honestly it's not painful. It's enlightening to be honest.

Because when you can find out what is really going on for you, you can change it.

It's straightforward and simple once you know how.

But if you are boredom eating and then think that you need to keep busy to avoid that constant snacking (mixed with the millennial urge to be productive), that's a cycle which you are just going to be repeating.

And repeating.

So let's break that cycle in coaching or come along to the Mindful Eating Workshop this Saturday 2-4pm at TP Fitness in Wem, secure your seat here.

Or start by booking your free no obligation call here.
