Introduction to Mindful Eating Workshop​

Become a mindful eater for Christmas.

If you are going to be surrounded by “treats” in the office, bombarded with food as gifts and you know you are going to overeat, press the “sod it” button and look for how to get back on track in January, already then you need this workshop.

​

The Introduction to Mindful Eating Workshop introduces the Coaching with Cara Mindful Method, this is designed to help emotional eating, reduce food noise and allow you to listen to your own body again.

​

We will work through these sections - 

  • Language around food so you set yourself up for success by telling your subconscious the right things around food.

​

  • Diet culture so you can see that it’s not your fault and you are a product of the culture we have grown up in but also how it doesn’t have to be like that now - you can change.

​

  • Food rules - we stripe back all the rules which you are living by and have picked up which only now confuse you. Say goodbye to them and hello to guidelines.

​

  • The hunger and fullness scale, I teach you this tool to use in the moment when food thoughts are coming thick and fast. It will allow you to listen to your own body again.

​

  • Unconditional permission to eat, those little bargains that you do with yourself every time you have a “treat” or are “naughty” - say goodbye to them!

​

  • Emotional Eating - the biggie and the one that I save till last as I will teach you long term strategies to build up your emotional resilience and the tool to use in the moment when you are eating, you know you don’t want to be but you don’t know how to stop.

​
