The table I've been building all year

I bought a tablecloth this week.
Round, white and pretty big, for The Intuitive Table.
It's probably going to arrive creased.
I am not an ironer. I never will be.
Don't judge me on my housekeeping.
I did warn you.
Right. Let me take you back a bit further.
Can you smell that in the air?
That's September energy.
Everyone bangs on about New Year being the time to change.
I've never thought that.
You've battered yourself into the ground for Christmas.
You've had that weird dead week where nobody knows what day it is.
Then January turns up, dark, wet, skint, and you're supposed to become a completely different person overnight?
No wonder it never sticks.
September's different.
Night still light-ish. Bit of warmth left in the air. New pencil case energy, even though I haven't been back to school in 22 years......
So in the next few weeks you're going to get bombarded.
Every coach, every PT, every account you follow, selling you something.
I'm going to mention what I've built too.
Quite a lot, actually.
Here's why.
If you've been dieting for decades, and I mean decades, this is for you.
Atkins. Low carb. Intermittent fasting. The shakes. Slimming World. Weight Watchers.
You've tracked everything. Weighed everything. Swapped your bread for a wrap. Saved a thousand Pinterest recipes you'll never make.
You're still in the Facebook groups wondering if the supplement that worked for Diane will work for you. Maybe eyeing up a GLP-1 injection. Wondering if collagen's finally the answer.
I'm not bothered about what diet you've tried.
I'm bothered about what's running underneath it.
Are you a perfectionist? All or nothing? Good all week, write off at the weekend, start again Monday, on repeat?
Got a supplement drawer that rattles every time you open it? One for menopause. One for your skin. One for your libido. One you can't even remember why you bought?
And here's the bit that stings a little.
Are you a self-sabotager? Do you get going, start feeling like yourself again, and then it just falls apart and you can't work out what happened?
I see it constantly in my 1-1 work. Women who want to break the cycle for good but can't hold it for more than a couple of weeks before something pulls them back under.
Sorry.
Not sorry.
I did say this one might sting.
None of this is a knowledge problem.
No app, no calorie counter, no diet was ever going to fix it.
It was never about what you were eating.
It's about what's happening underneath.
Which brings me to the table.
I've wanted to build this all year.
We sit around an actual round table (with a nice table cloth) and unpick this properly.
Sometimes we won't even talk about food. Those sessions are usually the ones that change the most.
Here's what Slimming World and Weight Watchers get right, and it's not the plan, it's the community.
Same faces every week. A bit of accountability. Women love that. They love knowing they're not the only one.
Because you are never, ever the only one.
The difference with The Intuitive Table? No reason to keep coming back after eight weeks. You learn it, you take it with you, you're done.
Brilliant for you. Genuinely rubbish for my business model.
Girls gotta do what girls gotta do.
Everything said around that table stays around that table. No judgement. No shame. No competition. Just women figuring out, together, why they do what they do, and what to do instead.
So if you're about to get sold another diet this September, or you're already planning your "I'll start Monday," pause first.
Pull up a seat instead here.
