Misdirected energy and how to get the results that the effort deserves

So we are in the third week of January and the new start feeling is still alive and kicking.
I'm seeing you put effort in left, right and centre because you really want to make 2026 a year of change.
THE year.
I'm here today to make sure that all that energy isn't misdirected.
It's in the right place so you get the results that you want and 2026 is THE year.
Because you see I'm seeing a lot of misdirected energy at the moment.
Remember "I want to see my vag" food blogger?
Who I did the podcast about how I would support her to her goals whilst not losing the joy around food and punishing herself with workouts?
Yeah her.
She's now brought a vibration plate....(face slap)
Vibration plates are about as good as chocolate tea pot.
Actually they are worse because she thinks it's helping her, whereas in fact you know a chocolate tea pot isn't going to work.
Misdirected energy.
Not addressing the root cause.
Making a conscious effort to drink more water?
I'm not going to say don't but what about the bigger things going on?
Youtube workouts going on and you are being consistent with them, but not seeing the results?
What about heavier weights and a progressive plan?
All these things are on the surface great (apart from the bloody vibration plate).
But what about the real root cause of all this stuff?
The deeper things running the show behind the scenes?
The stuff that I do in coaching to make sure that energy is directed into things which are going to make a real difference.
Get you closer to your goal quicker and easier.
I've seen it before a number of times where you know you emotionally eat and you think you just need some more motivation, some more determination and some more discipline.
But what you need is more self awareness.
What patterns are you running again and again?
What circle are you going round in?

So you stop going round in circles and actually can do what you want to do and get those results.
