Your symptoms aren't personality traits.

Oh, delivering all the fierce compassion today.
I don't know if you need to hear it but I think it's a good reminder to you.
This was the reply from Dr Laura Bangs (Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist) when I asked her "What is the one thing you wish everyone woman knew about her health?" on my podcast.
Now, I'm not sure what kind of answer I was looking for with that question but I wasn't expecting where Laura went with it.
But it makes sense doesn't it?
Heavy periods aren't bad luck.
Brain fog in your 40's isn't a lack of resilience.
Pelvic pain isn't just being dramatic.
Symptoms are signals and they aren't flaws.
But as women we often turn them into something about us.
But no longer.
This is your sign to go and head to this week's Chatting with Cara where Dr Bangs and I have a good old chat about how and why she has set up her own healthcare company, women's health, she debunks three common health myths and drops in nuggets like this.....
If you don't know about Dr Bangs, she needs to be on your radar as the go to for all Doctor things!
Drop it a listen, follow her and let me know what you think!
Listen in here.
