Pilates Classes at Sattvic Studio

I get asked to teach Pilates at least once a week.

Someone always wants a class.


My contacts always want me to go and teach at their places.


And I totally understand why. 


Pilates is having a moment thanks to reformer pilates being all over social media.


Mainly, because the people who go to the classes post about it, they become one of those people who tell everyone about how great it is.


That's because it is great.


Those of you who have been around here for a long time will know that I'm no stranger to teaching.


I first started Pilates 13 years ago whilst I was training for the London Marathon and I loved it. Fast forward another 6 years and I trained to be a Pilates teacher with the aim of doing that full time.

I loved it that much.


And good job I did because then the pandemic hit and I taught 7 classes a week, recorded three classes and I taught it over video calls to my 1-1 clients.


I became a master in teaching it because I did it so much and for so long.


When we were eventually allowed back to see each other - who remembers the classes at The Foundry on the lawn in Coalbrookdale? 


I loved being back.


Short break to have a child and now I'm back teaching.


But I've never stopped practicing. in fact my own practice has come into its own such having Luca.


Maybe that's why it's taken me so long to get back into teaching because my own practice has felt too personal, too intimate to share.


However, I'm back now and I can't wait to see those faces on the mat when they think they can't do an exercise but absolutely smash it, I can't wait to see people progress week after week and I can't wait to see people walking a little taller.

Thursday 10:30am – Pilates and LattesPerfect for everyone! I offer modifications and progressions so you can work at a level that suits you while still feeling challenged and supported.


Thursday 11:45 AM – Beginners PilatesNew to Pilates? This class is designed to help you build confidence and strength at a slightly slower pace, with plenty of guidance.


Sattvic Studio - Queen Street, Market Drayton TF9 1PX


Classes at 55 mins and they are super inclusive - anybody can do Pilates especially in my class!
