Service Description

This beautiful class at Sattvic Studio is for Women who have given birth with pre-walking babies and want to move their bodies again in a safe and effective way. The 45 minute class will focus on appropriate Pilates exercises to strengthen the core, relax and move shoulders and the upper back (these get very stiff with a baby), strengthen the glutes and the pelvis to provide stability, connect with the pelvic floor and breath and I will also be providing postural analysis (how you hold your baby affects your pelvic floor). I know from experience that feeling after giving birth that you will never feel like yourself again, that feeling of weakness but Pilates saved me and I’m stronger than ever. I’m Cara and I’ve been a Pilates teacher for 7 years. I am also a PT and qualified to train pre and post natal women. I have a Degree in Sport Science, I’m fully insured and DBS checked and I also have a 2 year old. Everything that I do with women is to make them stronger, healthier and fitter. My approach is free from diet culture (there’s no bouncing back here), just plain old moving your body in a way which feels good to you. Sattvic Studio - Queen Street, Market Drayton 12 noon for 45 minutes £70 for 6 sessions - Block booking starting January 8th till February 12th. Equipment provided Please note - Please bring your baby along but the studio does not have room for prams so please bring your baby in a carrier or car seat. Any questions please ask away.
